Cream Cheese Pops

Cream Cheese Balls

A dinner party appetiser delight! Cheese balls can be made as 1 giant platter ball or as mini, individual pops.


 2 tbsp Chives, Finely Chopped
 100 g Pecans, Roughly Crushed
 ¼ tsp Cayenne Pepper
 2 tbsp Cilantro, Finely Diced
 1 tsp Balsamic Vinegar
 Salt And Pepper To Taste
 Optional: Sun Dried Chilli Flakes, for an extra spicy (and colourful!) option



Ensure the cream cheese is at room temperature


Add all the ingredients to a mixing bowl and mix together well


Cover and chill the cheese mixture in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight


Remove from the fridge and shape into 1 giant ball and roll in chopped pecans


Alternatively, measure scoops of 1 Tbsp of mixture, roll into balls and roll in chopped pecans or other colourful toppings of choice (mixed nuts, seeds, diced peppers).


Refrigerate until ready to serve.
