Crustless Broccoli Quiche

Pre heat the oven to 170 Degrees Celsius
Grease a 20cm diameter, deep, class casserole dish with butter
Whisk the eggs and cream together in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy (preferably with an electric beater).
Add the baking powder and whisk briefly (do not over-whisk as this will deactivate the rising agent)
Add the remaining ingredients, mixing well with a wooden spoon. Note: the broccoli does not need to be pre-cooked as it will soften whilst the quiche is in the oven (remaining firm but not soggy).
Pour the mixture into the glass pie dish and bake in the oven for 30 – 40 minutes or until the quiche has risen and the centre is no longer liquid
Remove from the oven and slice into wedges. Serve hot or cold with a side salad.
Halve the quantity of broccoli (or substitute completely) with either mushrooms, asparagus, baby spinach and some baby tomatoes
Add 1 packet of fried bacon bits to the mixture with the balance of the ingredients
Fry 1 onion and add to the mixture with the balance of the ingredients
