Most of the links going to products on Made To Thrive are affiliate links of which I receive a small commission from sales of certain items, but the price is the same for you (sometimes, I even get to share a unique discount with you).

If I post an affiliate link to a product, it is something that I personally use, support and would recommend. I personally vet each and every product.

Our first priority is providing valuable information and resources to help positively optimise your mind, body and spirit, and we will only ever link to products or resources (affiliate or otherwise) that fit within this purpose.

Made To Thrive respects the privacy needs and concerns of our customers. Any personal information, such as your name, address, email address or phone number that you provide is extremely important to us. To earn your trust, we respect your privacy in handling Personal Information relating to you and your transactions with us.  This Privacy Statement describes the Personal Information we gather about you, what we do with it, the safeguards we have in place to protect it, and how you can control our use of it. Who May Use the Site

The Site is not intended or designed to attract users under the age of 18. We do not collect Personal Information from any person we know to be under the age of 18. If you are under 18, we ask that you not send us any Personal Information.

The Site is intended for users from South Africa and those not governed by privacy policies of other countries. Do not send us information unless you consent to the application of South African law and to the use and disclosure of your information consistent with this Privacy Statement.

Personal Information

“Personal Information” is information that identifies you or is reasonably linked to you. The personal information we collect may include contact and payment information like your name, email and physical addresses, phone numbers, and credit or debit card information. When you ask us to ship an order, we may collect information you provide us such as the name, address, and phone number of the recipients. For certain transactions, we may be required to collect information to comply with legal requirements.

“Non-Personal Information” is anonymous information is that information we collect that is not traceable to any individual person or computer. We utilise this data to analyse trends and understand customer needs while shopping and interacting on our site so that we can provide a better user experience. For example, we may use cookies, web beacons, log files and other technologies to collect information about visitors to our Website, and interactions with our online advertisements and offerings.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

Made To Thrive uses your information to offer and provide our products and services, and to support our core business functions.   7. Submitting a Made To Thrive related story, product testimonial, rating or review, or other user-generated content that may be posted on the site;

We may collect and store the following personally identifiable information:

We may also collect Personal Information about you from our Service Providers who provide us with e-commerce related services related to the Sites.

When you return previously purchased merchandise or request a refund or exchange, you may be asked to give your name, address, phone number and provide information that identifies you, such as your credit card or debit card. We collect this information to help prevent fraud.

Site Registration

Registration is an optional OR required service provided by our Sites. You do not have to register to browse on our Sites, but you do have to register to purchase products on our Sites. When you register, you are asked for information such as your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, a password that you select, and your interests, if you choose to register them. Your registration information may be used to help make your online shopping quicker and easier, by pre-filling certain parts of your shopping information. When you register you will have the opportunity to sign up for future marketing information from Made To Thrive.

Contests, Questions, or Surveys

When you ask a question, participate in a survey, enter one of our contests or sweepstakes, or participate in a Made To Thrive sponsored event through our Sites, we may collect your name, address, phone number and e-mail address. We use this information to administer your participation in such contests, sweepstakes, or events.  At the time you are entering a contest, sweepstakes, or event, we may ask your permission to send you future marketing information from Made To Thrive.

Other Uses of Personal Information

Made To Thrive also uses Personal Information, including information provided to us from our Service Providers, to continually assess and improve the products and services we offer. To serve you better, we may combine the Personal Information that you give us with publicly available information and information we receive from or cross- reference with our marketing partners and others. We use that combined information to enhance and personalise your shopping experience with us, to communicate with you about our products and events that may be of interest to you, and for other promotional purposes.

Promotional Information and Marketing Materials

We would like to inform you of products and services, sales, and special offers that might benefit you. When you register online or participate in a survey, you will have the opportunity to sign up for e-mails about our products, services, sales and special offers. We may also send you mail, email, or call you with information about our product and service offerings if you have provided us with your name and address, email address or phone numbers. Access to Personal Information by Companies that Work with or on Behalf of Made To Thrive

Some of our operations, such as our electronic commerce, may be managed by Service Providers who are unaffiliated companies. These companies may share Personal Information with their affiliates and service providers whom they engage to perform services related to our Sites or the operation of our business. Examples of these services include payment processing and authorisation, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, product customisation, order fulfilment and shipping, marketing and promotional material distribution, Web site evaluation, data analysis and, where applicable, data cleansing. These companies may have access to your Personal Information on a confidential basis only to the extent necessary to perform their functions. In no event will we authorise these companies to use your Personal Information for any reason other than to provide you with those specific services.

If your purchases are being shipped to you, your shipping information will be shared with our delivery service providers (delivery companies we or you select). Our delivery service providers are asked not to use your Personal Information for any purpose other than making the delivery.

Sale of Business

As we continue to develop our business, we might sell, buy, or transfer assets. In such transactions, customer information (which includes your Personal Information) generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the unlikely event that Made To Thrive or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of the transferred assets and is permissible under law.

If Made To Thrive or any of our Service Providers is requested by law enforcement officials or judicial authorities to provide Personal Information on individual users, Made To Thrive or the applicable Service Provider may, without your consent, provide such information. Additional Information about Our Sites

Visiting Our Site

In general, you can visit our Sites without telling us who you are or providing us with any information. However, we collect the IP (Internet protocol) addresses of all visitors to  our Sites and other related information such as page requests, browser type, operating system and average time spent on our Sites. We use this information to monitor and improve our Sites.

Automated Information Collection

We receive and store certain types of information when you interact with our websites, emails, and online advertising. Our purpose is to allow the websites to work correctly, to evaluate use of the website, and to support website analytics and marketing campaigns. Some examples include:

  1. We may collect technical information such as your internet protocol address, your device operating system and browser type, the address of a referring website, if any, and the path you take through our

Security of Personal Information

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorised access, use, modification and disclosure of Personal Information in our custody and control. Site Usage – Termination of Usage 

You are required to establish an account on this Site in order to take advantage of certain features of this Site, such as making a purchase. If you provide information on this Site, you agree to (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the Site, and (b) maintain and promptly update such information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete to the extent the Site facilitates such updates. This Agreement is effective unless and until terminated by either you or Made To Thrive. You may terminate this Agreement at any time, provided that you discontinue any further use of this Site. Made To Thrive also may terminate or suspend this Agreement, at any time, without notice, and accordingly deny you access to the Site, if in Made To Thrive’s sole discretion you fail to comply with any term or provision of this Agreement or your use is harmful to the interests of another user or Made To Thrive Parties. Upon any termination of the Agreement by either you or us, you must promptly destroy all materials downloaded or otherwise obtained from this Site, as well as all copies of such materials, whether made under the terms of use or otherwise. Made To Thrive reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Site (or any part thereof) with or without notice. You agree that Made To Thrive may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of this Site, without notice, for any conduct that Made To Thrive, in its sole discretion, believes is in violation of this Agreement or any applicable law or is harmful to the interests of another user or Made To Thrive Parties.

User Content and Conduct 

Where applicable at the Site, you are invited to post your own content (“User Content”). Please note that this Site is intended for adult use; if you are under the age of 13, do  not submit any User Content to this Site.

You understand that all User Content, whether you have publicly posted on a forum or privately transmitted to another Site user or to us, is your sole responsibility. Though  the Site is designed to be a safe place to share such User Content, Made To Thrive cannot guarantee that other users will not misuse the User Content that you share. You understand that the technical processing and transmission of the Site, including your User Content, may involve: transmissions over various networks; and changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices.

You agree to each of the conditions in this Agreement and further agree that each of these conditions applies forever and broadly with regard to Made To Thrive worldwide.

Posting of User Content to or through the Site, including ideas or disclosures of opinions, is voluntary on your part. No confidential or contractual relationship is established by your posting of User Content or is to be implied by our review or subsequent use of your User Content. Made To Thrive shall not be liable for any disclosure of any User Content, including opinion(s) or suggestion(s), you post to or through the Site. Made To Thrive shall be entitled to unrestricted use of any user  content it may receive from you at or through the site, for any purpose whatsoever, commercial or otherwise, without compensation to you as provider of the user content.

You agree that you will not use the Site to:

  1. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any User Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libellous, invasive of another’s privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
  2. harm minors in any way;
  3. impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to a representative of Made To Thrive, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity;
  4. forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers in order to disguise the origin of any User Content transmitted through the Site;
  5. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any User Content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information, proprietary and confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under non-disclosure agreements);
  6. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any User Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights (“Rights”) of any party;
  7. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, “junk mail,” “spam,” “chain letters,” “pyramid schemes,” or any other form of solicitation, except in those areas that are designated for such purpose;
  8. upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, emulate, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
  9. disrupt the normal flow of dialogue, cause a screen to “scroll” faster than other users of the Site are able to type, or otherwise act in a manner that negatively affects other users’ ability to engage in real time exchanges;
  10. interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Site;
  11. “stalk” or otherwise harass another;
  12. collect or store personal data about other Site users; or
  13. gain access to unauthorised areas of the Site or our network or servers.

We will terminate the account and/or block Site users who repeatedly violate the above- mentioned items or the intellectual property rights of any other person on this Site.

You understand that by using the Site, you may be exposed to User Content created by others that is offensive, indecent or objectionable. Made To Thrive does not endorse or have control over the User Content. User Content is not reviewed by Made To Thrive prior to posting and does not reflect the opinions or policies of Made To Thrive. Made To Thrive makes no representations or warranties, express or implied as to the User Content or the accuracy and reliability of the User Content or any other material or information that you may access through the Site. Made To Thrive assumes no responsibility for monitoring the Site for inappropriate submissions or conduct. If at any time Made To Thrive chooses, in its sole discretion, to monitor the Site, Made To Thrive nonetheless assumes no responsibility for the User Content, has no obligation to modify or remove any inappropriate User Content, and has no responsibility for the conduct of the Site users submitting any such User Content. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Made To Thrive and its designees shall have the right to remove any User Content that violates this Agreement or is otherwise objectionable, in Made To Thrive’s sole discretion. You agree that you must evaluate, and bear all risks associated with, the use of any User Content, including any reliance on the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of such User Content. In this regard, you acknowledge that you may not rely on any User Content. You are solely responsible for your interaction.

You are solely responsible for your interactions with other Site users. Made To Thrive reserves the right, but has no obligation, to monitor disputes between you and other Site users and to terminate your Site access, in its sole discretion.

Applicable Law, Jurisdiction, and Dispute Resolution 

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you and made To thrive hereby waive the  right to a trial by jury in any proceeding or litigation brought against the other with respect to this agreement or the site. In addition, neither you nor made To thrive shall be entitled to join or consolidate claims by or against other site users, or litigate any claim as a representative or class action or in a private attorney general capacity.

Severability and Interpretation 

If any provision of this Agreement shall be deemed unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the validity and enforceability of any remaining provisions shall not be affected. When used in this Agreement, the term “including” shall be deemed to be followed by the words “without limitation.”

Entire Agreement 

This Agreement constitutes the entire and only Agreement between Made To Thrive and each user of this Site with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement and supersedes any and all prior or contemporaneous Agreements, representations, warranties and understandings, written or oral, with respect to the subject matter of this Agreement.

Miscellaneous

The failure of Made To Thrive Parties to insist upon strict adherence to any term of this Agreement shall not constitute a waiver of such term and shall not be considered a waiver or limit that party’s right thereafter to insist upon strict adherence to that term or any other term of this Agreement. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim of cause of action arising from or relating to use of this Site or this Agreement must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose, or will be forever barred. The “Disclaimer; Limitation of Liability” provisions of this Agreement are for the benefit of Made To Thrive Parties as defined herein, and each of these individuals or entities shall have the right to assert and enforce these provisions directly against you on its own behalf.
