These P’s represent a comprehensive framework for approaching your health and wellness, and avoiding becoming one of the every-growing disease statistics. Proactive health management involves taking intentional actions to improve and maintain well-being before symptoms or disease arise. This forward-thinking approach encourages you to actively engage in health-promoting behaviors I outline in Made To Thrive’s 7 Pillars. Being proactive is about anticipating potential health concerns and addressing them before they escalate into chronic conditions or disease, such as by knowing your data! Proactivity also emphasises personal responsibility, agency and accountability, which is the heart of biohacking,

Preventative measures complement the proactive mindset by focusing on reducing the risk of illness and promoting a healthier future. Rather than waiting for health problems to manifest, preventative practices involve regular biological auditing, keeping up with health trends and education and lifestyle modifications aimed at minimising the likelihood of developing serious health conditions. This approach not only improves quality of life but also reduces both personal and societal healthcare costs.
